The former Mamelodi Sundowns player Percy Tau has qualified the UK work permit under new Brexit rules. This has been confirmed by Brighton and Hove Albion as they recalled Percy Tau from his loan at Anderlecht and sets to play a part in the Seagulls Premier League campaign.
On Thursday afternoon the Club announced Tau’s recall on Twitter. Tau has been on Brighton’s books since 2018 but spent time on loan in Belgium with Union SG and Club Brugge before another loadmaster spell star Anderlecht at the start of 2020/21 season where he scored four goals is 15 starts for his club.
Brighton Manager Graham Potter mentioned that he is looking forward to work with Percy Tau, according to the Brighton Website. “ We‘re pleased to be able to welcome Percy to the club and begin working with him. I know he’s a player whose progress many of our fans followed in recent seasons. He brings some different attributes and qualities to the group and he wants to take the next step in his career. We’re looking forward to working with him ”, Said Potter
Percy Tau has scored 12 goals for Bafana Bafana in the Internationals for South Africans.
